Philosophy and Vision
Our work employs an “integral system” vision: we search for wide innovative solutions to local energetic challenges. We constantly observe, analyze and ask ourselves how can the residues of a given process be turned into energy for a new or different one?

Compromise
We are committed to a long term work with Mezcal, Ceramist and Glass producers. Our aim is to help them to adopt and masterize new technologies, so that their processes become more sustainable and productive. We want them to generate positive impacts in their health, economy and environment.

Ultimate goal
To activate a micro-industrial network with sustainable communities in Mexico. To generate apprenticeship spaces in order to develop a good management and understanding of renewable energies.

Accomplished goals!
Studio Xaquixe, and exemplary workshop
We managed to significantly reduce our operative costs, we also increased our sales of products and implemented more technologies. Our aim: to be an example of a sustainable micro-industry in the region.
PPX as a test laboratory
PPX is a research and training organization: we adapt alternative technologies to local resources and contexts. Our facility works as a laboratory with prototypes, all designed to serve small industrial and artisanal firms.
Ovens for Mezcal producers activated!
Our ovens have received a great reception among Mezcal producers: they save money and reduce impact in the environment. So far, Los Danzantes, Sombra and El Milagrito brands produce with our technology.
Solar Energy and Biodigestion
We are testing several prototypes for solar energy, as well as our biodigester in order to develop the best formulas for energy saving and Mezcal production waste reduction.
